Small sturdy pot. Very light and packs easily.

Many percolators, such as GSI's, use a flimsy metal to make the percolator stem and basket. This is not one of those. The stem is solid and resists bending.

Easy to clean. Aluminum does discolor from the acidic coffee. 2tbsp/qt of Cream of Tartar boiled in the pot cleans up the coloring.

Great size but the top melted and the pot leaked coffee where the handles attached to the pot. Keep it away from the flames and you should be fine. A glass top would be better.

Basic product. The perk holes are fairly large, so unless you really put large grounds in the basket, you'll see a fair amount of grounds in the last cup.

It's a basic design, and will last forever. I don't have to worry about carefully packing or storing it.

After testing it on the stove, I concur with previous comments stating that I'll have to grind my coffee a little more coursely for this pot. The grounds will pass through the basket when they're too fine.
Being used to an auto drip coffee maker, this pot takes a relatively long time to brew a decent strength pot.

Realize that it contains 5 cups of water when you fill it to the brim, which is okay if you're just looking to make 5 cups of hot water. About one-third of the pot is taken up by the basket and grounds. (I'll need to make a couple pots to satisfy my daily coffee craving.)

Not a bad pot, but if this one breaks I'll look for something bigger.

Awesome percolator! Super light, well constructed, and it works like a champ. If the heat is too high while it is perking it will spit some coffee grounds into the drinking reservoir, but I can live with that. Beats a sock.
