Comments about Metal-Ware Open Country 8 in. Plastic Compartment Plate: The mess kits we bought needed two more plates to accommodate our scout patrol sizes. I bought extras for replacements as well. A small engraving on the back of the plates was given to identify the plates with the cook kits. Now every patrol is accountable for their own gear without exception. These were exactly the plates we were looking for to match those in the cook-kits.
