Comments about AlpineAire Mushroom Pilaf w/ Vegetables:

Ya know, it's called Mushroom Pilaf, but it's really a few dried pieces of Mushroom in cous-cous. After ya add the boiling water and let it sit it all tastes about the same - it's a glob of dehydrated red pepper (way too much), corn (again, too much), and some other chunks of stuff and brown chunks that are supposed to be Mushroom? and cous-cous, and it all tastes weird

  • Q:

I'm looking for entrees that come in a padded envelope with their own heat source -- you just pull a string and the meal heats up in the envelope. Is this like that? Do you have any products like that? It's for an earthquake supply kit I'm putting together. Thank you.

      A:

No this is not the self heating food. Campmor does not currently carry meals like this. You can use the search engine of your choice and search "self heating meals" and there are suppliers for these.
