Comments about Gerber Bear Grylls Scout Drop Point Knife:

This was my first Gerber knife purchased. Surprised on how useful the knife is. It's the right size for most CAP Cadets/Scouts/Explorers to use in the field. Great to have on hand as a "first-use" knife for small 'work'. Only one gripe was the method the blade is attached to the handle. Remember that this is a "pocket" knife which usually means small/lightweight projects and work. Larger stuff requires maybe a heftier instrument.
