Comments about Julbo Colorado Glacier Glasses: Love the product, have 3 extra pair (just in case) purchased 9 pairs over the years (for myself and my family). With my very light sensitive eyes these sun glasses are the ONLY ones that I have found to block all levels of light (and spectrum) plus look great in the process.

Comments about Julbo Colorado Glacier Glasses: Good eye protection at high altitude or in highly reflective conditions (new snow) for a reasonable price. Will use skiing, hiking, climbing especially in snow. Also good backup for prescription sunglasses on high altitude snow treks.

Comments about Julbo Colorado Glacier Glasses: I just received a brand new pair of Colorados- free, including S&H- from the "Julbo Team" to replace the old pair that was sent for repair a week ago. Just amazing, fast service! Needless to say, they have my patronage for life. The old ones had a spot on a lens (de-lamination?) and a temple had worked its way out; it was pushed back in but it got lost eventually as it was never a tight fit again. So, the glasses have some issues- well, mine were close to 3 years old, worn almost daily- and I'm curious to see if the newer ones have been improved. Anyway, I love this model, which is why I wanted it repaired in the 1st place. It offers very good protection, is so light weight it's very comfortable and the adjustable/flexible temples are soft on the ears. All glasses should have that system. I just wish a black lens was an option, although this brown lens is dark enough that it doesn't make me dizzy like some Vuarnets I had, years ago, with a really weird, unbearable brown lens…

Comments about Julbo Colorado Glacier Glasses: Wore REI glacier glasses for at least two decades until they stopped making/carrying them. Have worn these now for about a decade. I have to replace mine cause when we travel, i sometimes get talked out of them and leave them behind. Presently, there are pairs in Mozambique, Thailand, Palau and Iceland(!). Inexpensive (relatively) and they work climbing, kayaking as well as driving or backpacking on the beach. So, just know that they are dark and accordingly you will lose contrast with these types of glacier glasses.
