Reviewed by 1 customer Displaying review 1 Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Esbit Pocket Stove Large: I normally use MSR white gas products in the field, but I wanted to experiment with the tablet stove just to cut weight. To be fair, I did not use the tablet stove. Instead, I tried to boil water at 7000 feet with a standard three rock arrangement. The pot was less then one inch from the fuel tablet and boiling failed on one tab. There was no wind nor was it particularly cold in October. Maybe 51 degrees.
