YES! I eat this when I want to make something quick. I have to force the last bit down. It's VERY filling. It's also not watery like the one review states. I'm wondering if they added too much water.

This is two cups(16 oz) of food. That supplemented with crackers, or bread of somekind should be plenty for an average person. For some with a larger apetite, it may not satisfy as much.

Campmor website lists this as a single 16 oz. serving. Mountain House doc says it is 4 half cup servings. I gave 2 pouches to a Boy Scout Trek to be used as a trail lunch for 3 adults and 4 older scouts. They really injoyed it and were satisfied. Of course this was just a lunch and they had a small package of pre-cooked Bacon Bits leftover and added it to the salad as well. What doesn't taste better with bacon?! So for a lunch you should be able to get 3 servings per pouch. BTW: The fact that only COLD water was needed made this an ideal trail lunch choice.
