Comments about Pic Corp. PIC Mosquito Coils: I remember mosquito punks (as they were called) from my childhood in Hawaii, and these are just like the old ones. More to the point, there are few more-effective ways to drive off Mother Nature's flying parasites than these smoke coils. Just light a few, place them strategically around your site, and relax. The smell still reminds me of Summer.

Comments about Pic Corp. PIC Mosquito Coils: these things are awesome! Any time I am camping or just hanging out in my back yard at night I have one of these burning. They are very effective, but the smoke tends to go right toward people, so I usually set them on rocks about 7-10 feet away from me. But at least the smoke doesn't smell bad! Not like bug spray or anything. The best things about them are that each coil lasts for about 8 hours, and that you can just dunk the end in water to put them out, and use them again some other time. More effective than the bug zapper I have!

Comments about Pic Corp. PIC Mosquito Coils: If the Great Flood actually happened, why the hell couldn't Noah have left the mosquitoes behind? My yard is overrun by hordes of the blood-sucking demons ever Summer--hanging laundry, yardwork, and sitting on the deck become nightmares of slapping myself silly. Then I found these mosquito punks, and all that changed. I stake three or four of these around the clothes line or the deck chair, and the mosquitoes evaporate. These use allethrin, a synthetic version of a chemical found in chrysanthemums, for repelling the parasites, and they are hugely effective. Cheap, easy, and long-lasting. Plus, the smell reminds me of Summers from my childhood where my neighbors used these things.
