This is an excellent LED flashlight and a great value for the price. The flashlight uses 3 AAA batteries and is made of aluminum.

This flashlight throws out a pretty nice beam of light and really lights things up at night. As far as the beam itself goes, it is adjustable from a very narrow beam of light to a wider beam, just by twisting the front part of the body.

The end of the flashlight includes a tiny lanyard hook. There is also a nylon case which ships with the flashlight, and the back of the case includes a loop with a small metal carabiner hook which I could see being used to connect the case to a beltloop, for example.

All in all, this is an excellent flashlight for the money. While I'll be using it for handheld uses, I can see where the light could serve as a tactical light for a shotgun, for instance.

Runs on three AAA batteries, but this thing is like a spotlight. On my last camping trip, I hung it in a tree and it lit up our campsite so we could play cards (fires were prohibited). It burned steadily, and after 2 hours was still going strong.

The package rates its battery life at about 4 hours. Quite reasonable given its brightness, I think. The lens twists, giving it a wide range between "flood" and "beam". The wrist band is long enough to wrap around your wrist twice, which is actually convenient if you need to tie it to something (like a tree branch).

I haven't even run through the first set of batteries yet, though, so I hope I don't regret giving this torch such an awesome review.
