Comments about MPI Outdoor Safety Prod Safe Signal Day/Night Signal Mirror: I got this mirror in addition to the Coghlan's 2"x3" mirror. It lacks the sighting grid so you must sight with your other hand. It also seems prone to scratching easier than the Coghlans which is a true glass mirror. Keep it in its protective pouch. It is slightly bigger than the Coghlans thus would send more light. The red lens on the back seems dubious. I have read reviews that say it would be more useful to just shine your flashlight at your rescuer than to try to illuminate the red lens. I would rather have highway reflective tape on the back to reflect back any search light that may hit you. All in all it would work if needed.
