Comments about Sven Saw Folding Camp Saw Replacement Blade 21 Inch: good product. a little difficult to align the holding pin when replacing the blade but overall not to bad. Just use a pair of pliers to pinch the pin through the hole in the blade then turn over and tap it on through with a hammer and nail set or other tool.

My Sven folding camp saw is over 20 years old. The blade is actually 20 1/2" long -- will this 21" replacement blade still fit? It still looks like the same design -- with the bolt and wing nut on one end and a roll pin holding the other end of the blade into the saw. How do you remove the old blade from the saw? I'm guessing you have to push the roll pin out of the silver aluminum saw piece that is holding the end of the blade to the saw. The replacement blade will work with your sven saw. Here are the installation instructions:
Tap out the spring pin that secures the blade to the back of the sven-saw with a hammer and a nail larger than the internal diameter of the spring pin. Insert the replacement blade and secure it by reusing the spring pin.Answered on 9/13/2011 by Steve from Campmor
