Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: The single forged construction on this is great because the handle will never break. It's not the most heavy duty axe, so I wouldn't chop large trees with it, but for basic work splitting logs and cutting small firewood it's hard to go wrong.

Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: This is a great tool and helped me get a fire going when I could not find any dry wood. It is the perfect weight. It is heavy enough to do some work on logs, and it is small enough to pack in your backpack.
