Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: i have owned a few of these axes over the years, i love them, i have cut many trees with them large and small alike, i only wish the handles were a little bit longer
Pros
Cons Best Uses
Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: I plan to use this mostly for trail maintenance and splitting of small wood. It turned out to be a little heavier than I expected.
Pros
Cons Best Uses
Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: The single forged construction on this is great because the handle will never break. It's not the most heavy duty axe, so I wouldn't chop large trees with it, but for basic work splitting logs and cutting small firewood it's hard to go wrong.

Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: This is a great tool and helped me get a fire going when I could not find any dry wood. It is the perfect weight. It is heavy enough to do some work on logs, and it is small enough to pack in your backpack.

Comments about Estwing Long Handle Camper's Axe: this axe is a little heavy for backpacking into the back country, but its usefullness outweighs the effort to get it there (besides I usually get my son to carry it!).
