Comments about Estwing Extra Sheath for Sportsman's Axe: I bought this for my husband for Christmas because the original sheath he had was torn. I was very happy to find a replacement sheath that matched the original leaves and nuts design like the one that came with the axe, rather than the pine cones on most other replacements. It was a little hard to snap when first put on the axe, but I am thinking it is because it is new, and will stretch out over time. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

As hatchet sheaths go, this one is pretty good. I guess one could argue that it might be heavier duty, but I wanted an Estwing to match the hatchet. I notice the design of the clip flap has changed slightly.
