After a few practice runs getting used to placement, I find it to be discreet, extremely functional and a must have for any woman involved in sports-related activities. I use this when fishing, either in the boat or on the ice in the winter time. It is so easy and discreet that I have used it while in a boat with 3 men and felt quite comfortable.

Best Uses Comments about International Sani Fem Sani-Fem Freshette Feminine Urinary Aid: I had to drop the drawers quite a ways (gravity doesn't send it 'uphill', and then spread 'em in order to get this to work right. Maybe with a lot of practice to get it positioned "just right" it would work. I'm practicing to find that position, but it's with a lot of leaking at first. This isn't a buy and go product. I read that line in another review...and that's true!!!

Takes a little practice peeing like a man but once you get the hang of it, you'll never be in the wilderness without one. Worth the stares I get from other women when I rinse it in a public restroom!

Just practice using this at home to get the hang of using it and you can't go wrong when you have to go on the trail. Since we have to wipe afterwards I carry some foil pack moist wipes which you can buy at any store to wipe myself and clean the device afterwards. Consider trimming or shaving yourself to make cleaning yourself easier.

Only thing I'd recommend is not letting your bladder completely go first thing in the morning - the Freshette had a hard time emptying faster than I did, and it got a little messy. No more squatting in the wilderness or over a disgusting porta-potty when camping/backpacking. No more envy - now I can write my name in the snow too!

Took strenuous ten mile hike and found it very useful, a time saver, a safety benefit. There were bears in the area, felt safer standing and clothed, didn't need to venture as far off trail.
