Comments about Reliance Hassock Portable Toilet: We got this because the wife has to use the bathroom frequently and the kids are getting to the age that they will using it too (2 yrs old right now). At first I wanted a chemical toilet but when I thought about dumping the holding tank I changed my mind when I saw this. Yes you can get the seat that attaches to a bucket, but by the time I spent the time trying to replicate this set up I would have spent more than this cost. Having the lids is nice and the cleanup with the bags is easy. The seat ring does seam flimsy, but it is holding up, but for the price it is what I expect and it does work fine.

Comments about Reliance Hassock Portable Toilet: I own this and my dear friend liked it so much when i brought it with me ice fishing for the day in a ice shack so i bought her one. she loves it no more running to the woods when alot of men are around. highly recommend this for out in the boat,really anywhere.renting cabins without facilities comes in handy during the night.

Pays for itself MANY TIMES OVER, now as well as in the future. Comments about Reliance Hassock Portable Toilet: We have only one bathroom, downstairs. Having a "potty" on the upstairs landing is very convenient. We also have used it in a pop-up trailer, but it's important to either empty it before traveling or to be sure that it's tightly secured as any liquid will slosh quite vigorously and may leak even with the lid on.

There is no carrying handle. NO, the lid does not close tight. That said, the unit uses double seal trash bags. You will use 1 trash bag per day per person (maybe 2 people).
