I can get through a whole cup without re-heating (used to do only a half with frequent nuking). I could wish that it held heat for several hours like its big brother, the Nissan screw-top Thermos--but for around the house and on the road, this does a good job. Doesn't drip when you sip, either. Coffee clubs at work were getting too expensive and I was tired of cleaning the pot and making the coffee for everyone else. Now, I make my own coffee and transport in this travel mug. I have a 40 minute communte and my coffee is piping hot when I arrive and still very drinkable 3 hours later with this mug! I drink an excellent cup of coffee without all the expense and "extra" duties associated with coffee clubs! Pros

It is not air-tight so you can't flip it upside down, go swimming with it, take it into outer space (or any other zero gravity situation). But lid does keep most of the splashes contained. Pros
