I bought these clips to attach a small zippered pouch to a rein rail on a horse carriage. The black color is very discreet, and I like how the clip is two sided and the side that attaches to the pouch isn't looped into the clasp that I use to attach and detatch it all from the carriage. Better than a climbing clip.

we love these nifty S biners. However you cant trust these to securely hold anything valuable if you're gonig to be moving around a lot. The biners dont break, but things can work their way off the clip--by twisting around, or something hits the gate from the outside, or your item's own gear loop presses into the gate and voila, your item is falling through space.
Five stars--these things are nifty. They dont claim to be lockable so you cant dock them for that. And to be fair it certainly IS POSSIBLE to to attach your stuff to the center post(whwere its more secure) by passing it through one gate then the other...but its a pain, and it doesnt solve the problem entirely so we rarely do this.
