I have been using my brass candle lantern for years now. I had an aluminum reflector I made in it so I would not blind myself, but it didn't pack well when I collapsed the lantern. This packs flat and fits nice in a pocket, is affordable enough that it is not even worth my time to try to make one...and it is made better than I could have, especially for the meager investment it cost.

Much less direct light in my eyes at night, more light down where I'm walking. Very light, durable and easy to assemble/disassemble. Works with Original, Mini and Micro Candle Lantern.

Not so sure about using it as a coffee maker like it says on the back of the package.(Use as a funnel for a paper coffee filter over a mug)

Directs the candle light below the lantern, and does eliminate the dark spot normally under the lantern. Really nice candle lantern with the shade.

This little ditty is a cool and useful addition to your candle lantern. It redirects light downward, making a lighted area below it. It doesn't do miracles. The candle light is not brighter, just focused on the table, too, rather than only outwardly. I would not use it to read a book or map.
Well constructed, light, and simple to put together.

The candle lantern doesn't throw out a lot of light. This reflector helps get the light where it's needed. Doesn't weigh much, and collapses completely flat. A nice little addition to the Uco.

Increases light downward, perfect for the picnic table or just around the camp site. Also very useful at home for increased lighting in an emergency, or just mode lighting.
