I fill it with ice and water in the morning and it still has ice in it the next morning when I dump and refill. I love this thing, saves me trips to the cafe to refill my glass. Doesn't sweat all over my desk too.

This growler does what it says - it keeps cold drinks cold for HOURS. I work 15 hours a day and I have to dump out ICE at the end of each day - I'm using half the ice I used to. It's great on day hikes and road trips - cold drinks for hours AFTER the trip is done. Best insulated container!

This is great when the weather is warm/hot and you need more than one bottle of water. It's a little too heavy to carry in a back pack, but if you are returning to a car or campsite and want ice cold water when you get there, this is great. I use it to refill my smaller bottle.

I really adore this guy. I had a 32oz as my standby for years, it's dented like it was in a rollover. This one is a good replacement and I fill it up in the morning, keeps me wet for any big project/outing. Only downside is half gal weighs 5 lbs - dropped in the first week and broke a good wedge out of the lid. However, the seal still works! My old one lost it's seal with the first good dent. Maybe they'll sell a sleeve for it...

I did not mark this as a 'con,' b/c this is a 64 oz bottle as indicated...but it is large in diameter...so not something you can drink out of 'one handed' unless you have large hands (ie a man probably could do it, most women could not). I do love having an almost 2 liter bottle - it helps me 'measure' the water I'm drinking for the day - and I like the fact it will hold hot or cold. It would be heavy (b/c of the water weight) for long trips backpacking etc, but there's no way around that...the bottle iteself is not that heavy, though it is very solid.
