I like the concept of this little light. A seemingly well made waterproof light that is about the right size. My problem with Princeton Tech in the past has been reliability and that fact that they seem to believe in multi-LED lights. This is a single LED light with a fairly good reflector and beam pattern and nice intensity. I do not understand building a bottle opener into this light. Very few non-twist off bottles today and just too easy to open one by other means if you encounter one. I'd rather they concentrate on reliability and function OF THE LIGHT ITSELF. I'm going to try and modify it so the open lanyard hole/bottle opener can be retrofitted to make this little light floatable for camping/hiking/kayaking and emergency situations. Now all it has to do is show me some reliability and not fall apart or stop working for no reason like past P-T lights and I'll be fully on board.

This is the led replacment for the nice slim 2 aaa
lights that ate batteries quickly. I wish they kept the slim size but I'll take the led anyday fat or not.

I gang up 5 of these to use for mine and borehole inspection. The new LED version "shines". I have used them to a depth of over 3,000 feet(Yes I mean Thousand)with NO failures! Also,its great help with that "end of the day refreshment"!
