Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: I like the hose to connect to the propane source. Gives you more options and space to cook in. Lights easily and is capable of very high output that brings cast iron cookware to temperature quickly. Similar features on other brands were priced higher but there is no sacrifice in quality with this stove. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: I have a older century 10k btu stove it was made in the USA. This thing is built like a tank. It also weighs as much as a tank. It is for the comfort driven in a cabin or tent camping scenario. Great prepping stove when there is a storm and the power is out. It is really quite fuel efficient. If you have to cook and want a hassle free stove go to [@] and find a used one. But even this IMPORT is a good stove. Had mine 11 years and it never failed me. Pros

Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: I have used this stove for several years, a couple times per year, plus for a week in the Black Hills. No problems, ever. Lights well. Burns hot. Packs up into a pretty flat package. It could only be better if it was a little lighter for portages. Pros

Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: The first time I openned the stove I had to pry it open. The top was jammed to the stove top surface. The stove top surface was not install correctly. The side shield screws kept falling out. The right burner did not start right away. I priced a similiar stove locally for less money. Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: The price and simple design was attractive until I pryed it open for the first time because the burner top was jammed to the top lid. Moving the sides several time revealed small sheet metal screws that kept coming out. They are part of the side shield hinge system. The spring latch was not working so the top cover did not close. The burner top was not assembled properly either causing the jamming problem with the top. Pros Cons Best Uses
Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: Well made, lights every time. I personally like the rubber gas hose, it gives you more places to put the gas bottle instead of balancing it on the edge of a table. I've been using this stove for two years now and, I can't find anything bad to say about it. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Century 24,000 BTU 2-Burner Camping Stove with Case: The propane hose didn't screw into the stove all the way causing my wife to have to constantly push the hose in so I could cook. I don't know if this is a problem with every stove or just happened to be the one I got but it was certainly a pain. The igniter worked great. Usually igniters are hit and miss, I was honestly expecting it to not work but I was nicely surprised. It never took more than 2 pushes to light the burners. Displaying reviews 1-10 |
