Because stainless steel is safe, the bottles have not been coated with a plastic or epoxy lining, which is one of the main differences between a stainless steel Klean Kanteen® and aluminum bottles. The large mouth design makes it easy to put in ice cubes or a smoothie packed with berries.

Comments about Klean Kanteen 18 oz. Classic Bottle With Sport Cap: Looking for alternatives to any plastic. Like that it is all SS, no plastic coating on the inside like aluminum bottles. Good taste and no contamination no matter if the water is in it for a long time, even in a hot car. No insulation of course with this thin stainless steel, so liquids don't stay cold long.

Comments about Klean Kanteen 18 oz. Classic Bottle With Sport Cap: Very good quality, no metallic taste. I'm now no longer using plastic bottles. The Sport cap works well, although makes noise as air escapes the vent.
