The Seat to Summit Big River Dry Bag is listed as 13" wide and 8" thick. Can you clarify what this means? Is it 13" wide when flat and 8" in diameter when opened into a cylindrical shape?

The length x width x thickness is a confusing dimension. A better dimension is 8" diameter and 21" length when the top is rolled down to make the bag waterproof.Answered on 8/27/2012 by Steve from Campmor
Q:
I am interested in a dry bag that I can put my sleeping bag, sleeping pad and tent in all together. I have a small two man tent that I will stuff in a separate dry bag minus the poles in case it's wet, I don't want my sleeping bag and pad to get wet. 35 Liters is the size of a smaller day pack. for both a sleeping bag and pad, you probably want a larger dry bag unless you have a very small sleeping bag and short pad. It will be your pad that will present the greatest issue. If your pad packs long if may not fit in this dry bag once rolled down.Answered on 8/8/2012 by Steve from Campmor
