It rained on the day we were coming home. It was about an 8 hour ride home in the rain on the motorcycle and I stayed fairly dry. I would buy these pants again. They were reasonably priced. The only issue I had was I bought a larger size to make sure they would be roomy and comfortable and they were a little tight through the hip area. Does not seem to be true to size. So buy a larger size for comfort.

I have worn mine perhaps about ten times for snowshoe trips and hikes and on my last trip the crotch seam ripped out. I also noticed that the seam tape is coming off in many places, which might explain why these pants don't seem at all waterproof.

I'm 5'9 and the pants are designed for 5'2 or 3. if someone can rectify that mistake and inform me when they have longer lengths, or direct me to a store in Boston that I can exchange the one i have, i would really appreciate it.

We bought it for a trip to Pittsburgh in December. It does seem to be waterproof and wind proof but doubt it would keep me warm. Will be returning.

Campmor replaced a similar product with these, and included the much appreciated full-zippers. But size M does not = size M! Too trim - then in shifting to the L size found the hems dragging since the legs are cut slightly longer in ratio to torso girth than the older product. Can't fully hem around the full zipper, so this will make this particular pair better suited for cycling than hiking. Also the elastic around the waist is insufficient (especially after shifting up a size-- and there is no drawstring to compensate.
