But his old one was ready for the dustbin so I did it anyway. I was a tad worried, as the inner lining of the shell feels slick rather than smooth. Luckily he doesn't mind (he is layering anyway) and he loves it. He loves especially the light weight, and the knowledge that I did not spend very much money on it. He wears it every day, not just for skiing.

Comments about Campmor Men's Storm Venture Waterproof/Breathable Rain Parka: bought for a philmont trek 104 miles we used at least once every day it was not breathable at all i might as well have not worn it at all thats how wet it got, now that im back i used it for a day hike last week and it downpoured on the way down from the summit and the entire inside of the jackt was soaked my fleece kept me dry from the wet jacket but still i only wor for 20 min if i was hiking on a rainiy day it would not have worked

Comments about Campmor Men's Storm Venture Waterproof/Breathable Rain Parka: My husband uses this jacket to carry the mail (you know, "neither rain nor snow nor dark of night, etc.) and so far, this garment is working well for him. It would be better if it had some sort of lining so the jacket itself doesn't touch the skin but I guess that's why the price is so good. He's been through several rainstorms in it so far but we don't know how it will hold up over time. He does love how light and packable it is.

As the site says, it is cut large so is suitable for an outer layer in colder climes; for only a layer over shirt, a size smaller than usual might work better. I also note that while not heavyweight, it is not especially lightweight so it is a little warm in a south FL summer, a great wind break in PA fall, and I hope a good outer for VT winters.
