The Marmot Women's Arona Insulated Jacket is not waterproof just water resistant light snow brush it off. The Arona is not meant to keep you dry in heavier precipitation. Since it is a lower profile jacket you could wear it under a waterproof shell.Answered on 2/5/2013 by Anonymous
