These pants are a great value, my daughter practically lived in these for a week solid, some days she wore them with no base layer and they kept her warm and dry. On the days we were going to be outside for extended periods, and I knew she would be rolling around in the snow, I had her wear a thin base layer underneath and she never complained about being cold. The fit was good, I ordered the large hoping to have a little extra room for her to wear layers and she had no problem layering under these pants, although she did need a belt whether she layered or not. They seem very well made and the price is great.

I wish they had the extension in the hem area for growing. Girls do need just as many pockets as guys get. They carry things like phones and snacks in their pockets while skiing.
