Cons Best Uses Comments about Mad River Canoe 40 inch Ash Yoke: [...]. Because it has no predrilled holes fitting it to my homebuilt stripper canoe should be easy. Comments about Mad River Canoe 40 inch Ash Yoke: No complaints here. High quality wood and finish. If you're using them for a different brand of boat I'd suggest replacing everything at once. For one, the rest of the wood is probably close to failing if one piece already has, and for two - this finish is a bit different than the gloss finish I've seen on Old Town boats and other brands so if you want it all to match buy the yoke and two thwarts together.
