Comments about MSR Titan Kettle: My wife special ordered the MSR Titan Kettle for me years ago, and I have enjoyed using it on countless backpacking trips. It is still in nearly perfect condition, even after heating water directly over both stoves and open fires. Foolproof way to boil water. It is a bit messy when pouring (drips down front). In a pinch it could function as a cook pot, but I've only used it as such a couple of times.
