Comments about Watchful Eye Designs Opsak Odor Proof Barrier Bags 28x20 2 pack: It is difficult to purge the air and have the bag stay closed. The bag was constantly opening up on our camping trip. The smaller bags are better in my opinion.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Watchful Eye Designs Opsak Odor Proof Barrier Bags 28x20 2 pack: These bags are impossible to keep closed, therefore they provide no "odor proof". Their "zipper" has way less "grip" than a cheap ziplock bag. They were bought for tent camping in bear country..what a waste. ANd if they were designed for hazmat, as they suggest...we should all be worried.

Q:
Why are your customer reviews of the largest Opsak so bad? Are the "zippers" that bad or is it misuse by the customer? Have you folks at Campmor tried or tested them? Thanks.1 answer
A:
I think that the problem is that the larger a zip lock bag the more tension there is over the span of the zip lock opening. Due to this if the contents are bulkier this will tend to push the zip lock open. Keep the contents being stored in the larger bag flatter so that the tension across the zip lock will be minimized. More of a clothing bag than a food bag. Additionally do not fill up the bag. Allow for the top to roll down and secure with several flat elastic straps.
