Comments about Terramar Thermawool Superfine Merino Wool Midweight Pants - Men's: Product is okay. A bit cheaper fabrication than I was expecting. Definitely not top of the line. Thermals are a bit thin and not the softest as merino wool goes. If price is the goal these work. Otherwise, I would go with a higher end product. It is worth it in the long run.

At first, it kind of itched but after two washes, it became soft and the itch was gone. Item did not shrink in the wash and colors didn't run. It kept me warm with just jeans down to 30F degrees. Using it with a fleece mid-layer and shell pants kept me warm down to 0F. Controlled odors well - tested it for 3 days without washing. Awesome product.

If I sat for more than 20-30 minutes I started feeling chilled and the temps weren't even below 20 degrees. My light-weight polypro longjohns work better & they are several years old.
