Comments about Manzella Ragg Wool Gripper Gloves:

I bought these gloves for general around the house use like snow shoveling, walking the dog, driving, etc. We haven't had any snow to shovel yet but I've walked the dog a few times in mid 30 deg temps and use them for driving. The gripper dots provide good grip and my dexterity is great while wearing them. They're warm enough for temps in the 30's. I have a pair of silk liners I'd use in colder temps. The biggest downside to these gloves is the way they fit. The fingers are very tight and a bit short for a size med glove. I have pretty slim fingers and still find them tight. The palm area is rather loose fitting and wrinkles when gripping anything making them a bit uncomfortable. The combination of the tight fingers, loose palm, and gripper dots makes for a strange feeling fit.

Comments about Manzella Ragg Wool Gripper Gloves:

I have only worn these gloves a few times, but I love how they grip the steering wheel when I drive. I put silk liners under them and ran with them in the cold and my hands were warm. They are not meant for skiing or sports like that, but running and everyday use they are great. I will also wear them when ice skating in an arena. They do run small, so just order a larger size than usual.

Comments about Manzella Ragg Wool Gripper Gloves:

Tried to use the product working outdoors in the North Georgia mountains in winter.

I'm glad I didn't try to use this product in the Sierras, Rockies Alaska, and commuting in Chicago.

20 years ago I bought from campmor rag wool products, and was able to use them in these places. Did a lot of cross-country skiing and camping in the Lake Tahoe area, and your equipment at that time really worked well these I wouldn't get in a sandbox in Miami in the winter.

Comments about Manzella Ragg Wool Gripper Gloves:

I wanted the thick Rag Wool gloves I used to see at Campmor but these aren't them! Only upon arrival did I find out these are the "warm" version, not the "warmer" or "warmest". In fact, there was no mention there even were versions. Expected thicker, warmer gloves.

Got the gripper model to use shoveling snow, walking the dog, driving the car before it heats up, etc. Grip dots work well.

Also, the fit is a bit tight, especially the fingers which have to be pulled on individually.
