  • Q:

I was looking at the Thule Goalpost 997, and notice there's also a rack on the cab of the truck what product number would that be, and would it fit on a Ford F250?

The Thule Goalpost 997 would require a front cross bar on the cab. If your truck has a factory rack on the cab this will work. If you need to add one, I would contact Thule for just a pair of feet and 1 cross bar.

  • Q:

I see the Goalpost uses the 2" trailer hitch. Can the hitch still be used for towing with the Goalpost in place?

The goalpost installed into the 2" receiver will make the receiver unusable for towing.

  • Q:

Will this work to haul two canoes or both a canoe and a kayak, which would require the 65" load bar

Yes, this will work. However, if you use a jay cradle for one boat, the 58inch load bar should be adequate.

Yes, it will work. It should support the weight.
