Bought this paddle for my 8 year old son who is just learning to paddle. Great value. Good price for an entry level paddle, but adequate to begin paddling his Jackson Fun 1.5. Only surprise was that it is a 2 piece. I didn't catch that in the description, I may not have bought it had I known that, but now that we have it we don't mind it. Actually nice that it breaks downs and stows in the boat.

Small size is great for my 6 & 8 year olds. Does not include drip rings, so I bought some but found they were too big - no problem, just put some 0-rings on both sides of the drip rings, done.

Nice light paddle which appears very solidly made. It would also make a good spare paddle for an adult paddler since it is relatively small and inexpensive.There is no guide blob on the right hand to indicate orientation, so think about adding one. Also I might put reflective tape over the smilies as I suspect they will begin to irritate us.[...]
