Comments about Astral Buoyancy V Eight PFD: Did LOTS of research and searching for a good life vest to use on my Hobie Cat and finally decided on this one. It fits really good and has free movement so I can get around on my boat with ease. Another plus side is that the back isn't cut real high so it doesn't get caught on the boom when I'm sliding underneath it. The ventilation is superb! On a side note it rides up high enough off the waist to allow it to work well with my trapeze harness.(I use a windsurfing seat harness)

It does not ride up when you are paddling. It breathes well and it dries quickly. After I bought mine, both of my parents and one of my friends also bought one. It's worth the money to have this item if you are an avid paddler.

Comments about Astral Buoyancy V Eight PFD: Althogh I only canoe through a livery a few times a year, this vest has allowed for much more comfort over the supplied rental vest. I don't find myself wanting to remove the vest because of excessive heat or discomfort. Very easy to wear all day!

Comments about Astral Buoyancy V Eight PFD: Bought these for use on our new kayaks. Have been out in Florida heat a couple of times and was pleased with the ventilation. I had worried about getting overheated, but no problem. With the waist buckle and the ability to leave it unzipped, just added to the comfort. It's really light weight. I could easily forget I was wearing it.
