I wanted a case for my lantern since the glass globe always seemed to be one errant hit from breaking. This fits well (check your model number though), but has rather flimsy tabs on the bottom that secure the base (which holds the lantern) to the case. As another reviewer suggested, I used a bungee cord to bind the base with the handle and the case is now rock-solid and absolutely serves its purpose well.

This was a replacement. The original case got too close to the campfire and melted. The new case appears to be identical in function and quality to the original. Note: The old cover was brown, this new cover is is more green than blue.

I've added a pocket on the inside of the cover to hold extra mantels.

I used to keep and transport my lantern in its original cardboard box. Naturally, one day, something happened and I broke the globe. After that, I decided that one of these nice hard plastic cases would provide more protection, and save me from breaking more globes.

I put the lantern in it, and put the lid on. When carrying it by the handle on top, about halfway down a flight of stairs, the bottom and lantern fell out, and the globe cracked again. I might still be able to use the lantern as is, but should probably buy a new globe for it.

There seems to be a solution to the problem: after putting the lid on, firmly snap the plastic closures in place. I don't think the top snapped into the bottom very well at first. I'm pretty sure that, if I take care to be sure the top and bottom are well snapped together, it'll probably keep the lantern well protected and never come apart.

It absolutely protect the lantern when packed with other camping stuff. The ribbed-tab connecting the top with the base does not imbue confidence in toting it by the upper handle. The lack of padding internally means this will not protect the lantern from a big fall.

Serves its purpose, protects the lantern from being banged around. There's space on the bottom holder to put you extra mantle. I agree with the prior post on the security tabs on the bottom that I'm not comfortable with it. I will get me a strap to secure it. Last thing is that be ready to recieve a green case like the one on the ad. When I ordered it the color on the description said "Blue", instead they sent me green. They need to update the website.

this case is nice, it works well, but my only complaint is that there is nowhere to store the filter that came with the lantern.

Okay, I needed a cover for my lantern and this one is made for it. The case has two cut-outs at the bottom that holds the bottom to the top, not real solid. The bottom did pop off once because it was not completely seated. However, what option do you have, this is the only one I could find for this latern. I will probably attach some kind of strap to the bottom that will hold it on better, for now it keeps it safe in the back of truck while driving.
