It will automatically adjust light intensity for each activity (with a wide beam and low intensity for close up or an intense focus with high intensity for distance) with no manual adjustments and you're hands free! This technology increases burn time as you won't waste light where and when you don't need it. The high tec, rechargeable NAO is the first Petzl headlamp with REACTIVE LIGHTING technology. In addition to the reactive lighting mode the Nao can be operated in continuous lighting mode to give you standard high and low output settings. The lithium Ion battery recharges easily with the included integrated USB cable connection and wall adaptor, or your own car power socket, home computer USB or a portable solar panel (sold separately). The battery can be recharged up to 300 times making the battery life equivalent to hundreds of alkaline batteries.
