Best Uses Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: This is a terrible headlamp. We bought 4 and 2 were malfunctioning within a month. Our other headlamps have lasted for 5+ years. you can't adjust the beam, the cord dis into your head and the light goes dim and bright at will. So disappointed!

Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: I use my Petzl headlamp literally every day. It's small and convenient when I'm out camping on a weekend, freeing up my hands to do things instead of holding a flashlight. It is so bright and so small, and the retractable cord feature sold me on it. I have strapped it to my Nalgene and set it up above me to Macgyver up a make-shift lamp, and I sometimes wear it around my wrist when it's not the most needed tool.

Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: I live in a town with a lot of stairs that aren't well-illuminated. I carry this in a small compartment in my purse and always have ample light for those moonless nights. I can fit it on my wrist, carry it in my hand, or slip it over my head, depending on what else I'm carrying. I love it so much I have two -- one for my camping gear, one for my purse. And I have given these as gifts to frequent visitors, so they, too, can manage the dark stairs at night.

Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: A Zipka fan for many years. I like the extra LED and improved battery cover.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: I dropped this little guy so many times that I needed a new one. But the thing took a good beating throughout the year in AFGH and survived. It got continuous use just about every night for walking, running as well as a night-light in the tents, really lit the room up. The hinge busted out but thats to be expected after 20-30 or so drops. Even at its dimmest, it still lit up a huge area.

Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: Let's put it this way...In the darkness, the man with LIGHT is KING...This little tool gives you gobs of light for pennies....Yes, it's pricey, but I have been using my Tikka Plus (same one) for 5+ years without complaint and it's paid for itself 10 times over...The headstrap is bulletproof, when handled correctly...hands free...I love it so much I give it to my closest friends for presents...Get One !!...You WON"T regret it...SOLD !!!

Comments about Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp: Great little gadget. When not in use, I carry it like a watch around my wrist, and it works great. I only wish it had a swivel action.
