This backband is very comfortable. Installation was simple while referencing the videos on the IR website. I replaced the backband in my sea kayak because it was uncomfortable and too high, and this backband made a huge improvement. Adjustments can be made on the fly without having to exit the kayak.

I live in Michigan and paddle until the ice comes on the lakes and as soon as it goes out. This requires some good gear and the best is IR. This back band is no exception and I could not be happier with the comfort it gives my back over the less than perfect factory one in my boat. If you are uncomfortable you won't paddle, get comfortable use this back band. It does make a difference when you are over 50 and still wanting to get out and enjoy the water. This is worth the money I spent and the back I am saving.

Great Backband, better than the original reggie, it is larger and softer. Both my Romany and NDK Legend are comfortable with this band and it dries quickly. Highly recommend this back band for your whitewater kayak or sea kayak.

Very nice kayak backband. I have a reggie and this one is more comfortable because it is larger and softer. Installs easily with different parts to custom fit most any kayak. Highly recommended. I put mine in a NDK Romany, great fit.

I installed this on my Percpetion Montour to replace the high OEM back. The installation instructions are in the form an internet video. It was difficult to understand what was required. Once I had the idea, and got it installed..WOW! I'll be purchasing more in the near future.
Very comfortable and has a wide range of adjustment. My sprayskirt fits better and the PFD is not forced up by the high back.

Was the only aftermarket Backband I could find that was worth anything. Very sturdy and stable design. Stays up on your back on long paddles. It helped the hip pains I experience on 10+ mile paddles. I installed in my cedar strip, and would be just as easy with any style boat. Instructional videos also given on manufacturer website. Would HIGHLY recomend to anyone looking to upgrade.

I used this to replace the smaller Reggie model, so installing was easy -- I just used the hardware that was already in the kayak. This version offers a little more back support.

Been Whitewater Kayaking for more than 20 years and I've found this to be be the most comfortable, easy to adjust Backband available. The lumbar support is amazing! Highly recommended!
