Comments about Seirus Skeleton Snowboard Gloves With Built-In Wrist Guards: I bought a pair of these for everyone in the family. The XL fits my 6'4" husband perfectly. I bought mediums for me and the teenage girls, smalls for my 9 year old son and XS for my 8 year olds. (They are unisex with no children sizes). The teenager girls and I are going to wear the smalls and I'll keep the XS for the younger kids to grow into. Bottom line--true to size for men but the average woman/teen girl will need the smalles sizes.

Comments about Seirus Skeleton Snowboard Gloves With Built-In Wrist Guards: I am an intermediate snow boarder and this glove was great for all the falls. Kept my hands dry and warm for the most part. Only time they were cold was riding the lift to the top of the mountain and it was 10 degrees, than my fingers got cold.

I expected these to be a step up and was suprised that he actually prefered the dabone model (which costs less). He found that the plastic reinforments in the skeleton were less comfortable than in the dabone, while I thought that the actual glove on the skelton was nicer. bottom line I need to return the skeleton to get him a new pair of seirus dabones (can only argue so long with a teen)

I have only used these for 4 snowboard outings and they are done which is why I gave them a low rating. If you are a skier I can see them lasting longer but for snowboarding where you are carrying your board from run to run and clipping into your bindings don't expect them to last long they just ware out too quickly.

I was impressed that this product was practical yet the gloves looked very good and did not look like they had any special inserts..i.e. looked like regular gloves..but they have the wrist (guard) supports a very good feature. After my son had surgery due to set a broken wrist several years ago, the orthopedic surgeon recommended these and mentioned Campmor. I remembered and found it easy to search and find the product!

However, my husband really wanted the same gloves again. He said after using them, his wrists were not hurting anymore.

This glove has an inner DryHand™ windproof/waterproof/breathable liner. This is a must for truly waterproof gloves. However the seams in this liner are not taped so leakage through the seems is possible.Answered on 1/23/2012 by Steve from Campmor
