Comments about Sevylor Fish Hunter 6 Person Inflatable Boat:

Though not recommended, and not advisable, three of us took this raft down 20 miles of white water. We hit trees, rocks, snags and walls of water that would sink a party boat. We abused it as best we could, and it kept up.

Big and light. Doesn't keep air pressure for a week. Could use a tow ring.

Comments about Sevylor Fish Hunter 6 Person Inflatable Boat:

Used this boat with my children for fishing trips on small rivers ans streams. Also in nice size lakes with a good trolling motor. It can be pushed by the wind if weell away from shore de to its high bow. All in all, it handles well. The motor bracket is quite low to the water for a good trolling motor. So low that the wood touches the waters surface. I still love this little boat...

how does it handle on choppy water, like say the ocean

        A:

This boat would not handle well in choppy water. As an inflatable boat, it floats like a leaf on the water and is easily blown around, particularly in choppy water in windy conditions.

How do you know that each of the 4 chambers is fully inflated?
Asked on 9/22/2011 by jeff from spring valley, ny

      1 answer

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

A fully inflated raft will be equally inflated over the entire area of the raft. If one of the chambers was not inflating this would not be the case.

        A:

As long as you use the Sevylor motor it would hook directly into the raft. If you are using another motor then the motor mount would be required.
