The Yucatan lifevest utilizes Extrasport's revolutionaly Baja Back design to provide a paddler with a streamlined fit that accomodates higher seatbacks found in many recreational and sit-on-top kayaks. A thicker upper-back flotation section and thinner lower section keeps the foam off the body, giving the paddler easier movement and greater freedom. The thinner lower back conforms to the shape of the torso and also provides more cushioning against the seatback compared to many other high back vests. A mesh ventialtion system helps keep the paddler cool on warm days.
