Lots of power for a small fan. The batteries are a little difficult to install due to the tight fit. The model I received had no hook in the handle as shown in the catalog photo.

Quiet and efficient

Fan is quiet with two settings. Takes lots of D batteries so good for carside camping. Also works with regular electric plug. Used this fan for 3 nights on a hot camping trip. One set of batteries lasted for whole time I was sleeping. I'd buy this fan again.

I like the fact the fan is small yet powerful and I can use it in my trailer which is "off the grid". So the fact that the fan is also battery driven means a lot to me.

Can this fan be run using a 6- or 12-volt gel cell instead of D-cells? Looking for something more efficient and rechargeable than D-cells.

  The battery compartment is contained in the fan, so using a gel cell would require modifying the fan thus violating the warranty.
