Prism Jazz Sport Kite

Item #: 69997

Our Price: $39.99

Smaller stunt kites in the 4-6 foot range take longer to learn with because they're quick and easier to over-control. But if you want to check out sport kiting with a minimal investment, treat yourself to the very best little trainer on the market: The Prism Jazz Sport Kite. It's a zippy little wing that packs up small, so take it everywhere. Leave it in the car, at the beach house, strapped to your motorcycle...because you never know when the wind will urge you to head out for a fly. The Prism Jazz's deep wing profile and tough glass/carbon hybrid frame means you can hand it off to anyone - your kids, your sweetie, or that interested bystander who's been watching, fascinated, for the last half hour. It's the air, it's quick but remarkably stable and easy to control, even for a low-time pilot. Engineered and built to the same obsessive standards as Prism's top-end equipment, it's a simple, compact little gem that will get you up and flying with a grin.

Comments about Prism Jazz Sport Kite:

Hubby received this kite as a gift. Kids assembled it but found it difficult to get into the air. If you follow the directions to let out all the line and start it that way, it gets airborne. It did stay up well in 10mph sustained winds but took a lot of strength to control. Hubby said it caused a couple of friction marks on his hands. It looks great, though. Will take practice to get to do tricks. Love the color, how small it packs and the handy included carrying case.

Comments about Prism Jazz Sport Kite:

Really fun kite - doesn't need a lot of wind to fly. Can manage windier days as well though.

First assembly is a bit hairy, since it feels you might break it when trying to connect all the parts. And then: read the instructions - it will not fly if you don't take ALL the rope of the spindle it comes on ;-)

how high can this kite fly. Ihow it is over two hundred feet?

              A:

The length of tether will impact height. As long as your string is sufficiently long you can reach a height of 200'. There will be other contributing considerations though. Air currents and wind direction and speed. Under the right circumstances 200' could be reached.
