It's very comfortable and the inflation valve seals perfectly. Although we don't have children jumping on it, relative to durability it's done well with normal adult usage. To inflate it I use a small volume pump (for rafts) and it inflates in less than a minute.  Pros

Granted it was our first time on a air-bed as we usually camp on ridgerests (not even thermarests). We had the best night sleep, no expected camping cramps and cricks in the morning. We are so in love we are booking more camping reservations just so we can sleep in the bed. Comments about Intex Queen Prestige Downy Air Bed: This inflates easily, but because it has a rubber stop flap, as soon as you remove the pump, you loose air until it finally catches. This makes it too soft. It should have a second one way valve to add more air after you get it filled for just the right comfort. Pros

There is a one way valve that you match the pump up to and turn on the pump. The air goes into the mattress, if the air pump comes off the mattress then the valve prevents the air from escaping. You can unscrew this valve to deflate.Answered on 7/27/2010 by Steve from Campmor
