This was great becuase it kept my daughter warm but she did not feel overheated when exercising. The kids never need to put on anything except for coat with their thermolator longjohns and they are set to go.

I have purchased this same item for my daughter who uses it for cold soccer days as well as skiing. Works great and MUCH less expensive than Under Armour!

I bought a pair of synthetic long underwear previously from Lands End, and she didn't like them at all because of the chafing seams. She likes the feel of silk long underwear, but I didn't think they would be warm enough for some of the activities that were were planning on doing this winter. This shirt (we also bought the matching pants) kept her very warm during skiing and playing outside in 14 degree weather.

Best Uses Comments about Terramar Thermolator II Crewneck with Ec2 Qwik-Dri - Kid's: Long underwear shirt for kids good for layering but just beware that it runs a bit long in the arms and in the body compared to some other tops of this size (does include the thumbhole, but still longer than other thumb-hole included tops). The neckline also runs large, wish it was a bit smaller, but is a good quality top and will pair well under a turtleneck or fleece for outdoor layering. If your child is on the lower size end, recommend a smaller top/other model (fits best for 7 to 8+ years of age).

It fit too loosely for me so I gave this one to my adult son whom it fit perfectly. I ordered a youth size S for myself and it fits perfectly. My son and I are both happy.
