I use this whenever I am walking and might get thirsty. I love the little details like the mini-carabiner that attaches the pouch to a larger bag for easy access. This also acts as a key keeper when the sling is open and the biner is inside the pocket that can also hold a phone or Ipod. There is also a pocket that can hold a lip balm and another that can hold a pen (or my mini-reading-glasses)

I started with one sling, it was so popular with the family that I had to purchase 4 more so that everyone had their own. It's great to keep your water bottle close while keeping your hands free. We use ours for festivals, hiking, etc. You can't go wrong with this handy little sling.

This is really a water bottle sized sling to use for that purpose. Has a small compartment attached to the outside for wallet or whatever. Not bad, but not the "Sling" pictured
