Q:
what is the difference between the jetboil sol and the jetboil flash personal cook system?1 answer
A:
The Flash is not a regulated stove so it will not perform as well in colder weather. The Sol is a regulated stove and perform better in colder weather.Q:
What happens when temp is under 20 like -10 degrees ?2 answers
A:
The stove will perform fine under 32 degrees, I can't answer for -10 though. The other day I used the stove up lost lake trail outside of Seward Alaska. The temperature was around 30, although I didn't time the boil, it wasn't far off the 2.5 minutes I've had in warmer weather. Yes, the stoves performance does go down the colder it is, but what's the end all be all temperature, well it ain't 30, probably would be fine to 20ish. One thing to consider too, the temp of you fuel bottle, that'll make all the difference too.A:
The JetBoil Cook System will simply not perform in temperatures under 32 degrees.Q:
