Hammock Bliss Tree Straps

Item #: 67903

Our Price: $11.99

Hammock Bliss Tree Straps make it a breeze to set up your Hammock Bliss anywhere. Tree Straps are a tree-friendly suspension system and extend the distance for hanging your Hammock Bliss hammock. Tree straps allow you to hang your hammock on trees or sturdy objects up to 20 feet apart. Tree straps protect the tender bark of trees by evenly distributing weight over a wider area.

Tree Straps can be used with Hammock Bliss Single, Hammock Bliss Double, or Mosquito-Free Hammock Bliss. They extend the reach of the 100" of 6mm climbing rope already included on each side of the Hammock Bliss hammocks. Tree Straps can also be used with many other hammocks. Hammock Bliss Tree Straps are constructed of heavy-duty weather-resistant nylon strapping 65" long and 1.5" wide. The Straps are super compact as they fit into a 3" x 5" travel bag and they are lightweight, the two straps and travel bag weight only 2.5 oz. Comments about Hammock Bliss Tree Straps:

We've shaved at least 20 extra pounds in rope and caribiners by switching to these tree straps. Perfectly functional, non-stretching, easy to pack, and much easier to set up. Very happy with this product.

Comments about Hammock Bliss Tree Straps:

These straps are nice and broad (great for the tree's bark) and they don't waste weight by extending much webbing toward the hammock. A lightweight hammock kit (for hiking) should not depend on the tree straps for adjustment. Look up "whoopie slings" -- strong adjustable cords that stretch between tree strap and hammock. I usually cinch strap snugly around tree by threading one end through the loop at the other end (unlike the image shown). You may need some kind of extender cord if trees are very large, but you don't really need webbing itself around the *near* side of the tree if angles and tensioning are right. (If your hammock is in the backyard or car-accessible camping grounds, then perhaps you'd prefer one of the eno adjustable strap sets.) Campmor's price on these is great.

I use these straps with the Nano 7 hammock for backpacking and they are strong, don't stretch, and do exactly what they've been advertised to do. The tapered ends make it easy to link with whoopie slings on my hammock. Great product, great price.

Comments about Hammock Bliss Tree Straps:

I brought this to go with "Hammock Bliss No-See-Um No More Hammock" to help with the setup of the hammock.

                Pros
It does extend the distance of the hammock
It does hold the hammock onto the tree and doesn't slip.
                Good size & light weight.

                Cons
Compared to similar products I've used in the past it is very hard to adjust the tension of the hammock with these straps, due to an overly simple product.

I always feel like I've wasted money on this product, due to lousy adjust-ability

Good straps, strong enough to hold up two teenage boys who thought it was fun to swing as high as they could in my new hammock. :(

The straps came with a little nylon stuff sack that was big enough for two D rings, helpful for hanging the hammock.

Not very adjustable, unlike my brothers which are rope with a Alum. slide adju. Other than that there very good and easy to use as long as your two points of contact are spaced close to perfect.
