Comments about Tie Yak Kayak Security Cable: I purchased this security cable to lock my kayak to the roof racks of my Jeep, as I often leave it on the roof overnight, and I frequently stop at shopping malls, grocery stores, etc. after kayaking and did not want to have to worry about my kayak being stolen. This cable is excellent. It is strong, easy to use and does the job perfectly. It also eliminates the need for bow/stern tie-down lines as the kayak is securely fastened to the roof the vehicle. I highly recommend this product!

Comments about Tie Yak Kayak Security Cable: I have borrowed my friend's cable several times for transporting our kayaks on a trailer, and have been very pleased with ease of use. Now I have purchaed my own cable for solo trips, transporting my kayak on my cartop rack.

Comments about Tie Yak Kayak Security Cable: Slightly larger cable diameter would be better, suggest .250 inch. I use it to secure my Pungo 140 kayak to roof rack and it works great. Very satisfied.
